Kew Gardens is the world’s most famous botanic garden, just a short distance from central London, the grounds boast an array of landscapes, glasshouses, historic buildings and a vast range of rare and beautiful plants.
With a host of activities all year round, the gardens are a haven for families and young explorers and with half term in October, there’s no better place to take the kids.
Families are invited to set sail on a quest to foil the plot of the spookiest souls of the seven seas, Pirate Pepperbeard and his dastardly crew, who have a plan to plunder the spectacularly valuable spices at Kew, and then the world!
The Great Spice Heist adventure will run every day during half term. Collect your map from the Spice Exchange, solve the puzzles around the Gardens and finish at the Princess of Wales Conservatory for the final performance.
